Beatrice is my second car and she had a profound impact on me. For a long time after dealing with Octavius, I didn’t have the guts to own a second 140 because the Octavius refinement was always on the way. I’ve had sparks with many different models, from LADA to Murcielago, but none of them came to fruition.

Beatrice was actually the first 140 that came into my world, and it all started with a 1/43 model. In 2011, I met the S 600 Russian Presidential produced by iXO, and I was surprised that the S-Class appeared in such an image, like a police car. I took it home and the 140 wasn’t my love at the time, just for fun.

But an option sprouted in my mind, and I started noticing the 140, and got my first one a year later. I don’t know if there will be a second one, and I don’t want to actively lock myself into a limited choice. So if it wasn’t for Beatrice, none of this would have happened.

After getting acquainted with Christian in 2016, I realized the importance of VIN, and started to organize and study data cards systematically. At the same time, I established FuryGoose, which is a search engine integrating data cards and image libraries. Since January 2017 , I collect pictures of vehicles every day and try to find their data cards. In October 2017, I discovered Beatrice in Dagestan, Russia. the exactly car that enlighten my passion of w140 in highschool.

The lack of my supervision was the main drag on everything being suspended. There is no legal basis for importing it into my driveway. Obviously, carefully research the uniqueness of her needed before starting anything. I’ve devoted to it in 5 years and I doubt I’ll have the confidence for another 5 years.

Like Dante in The Divine Comedy, my Beatrice and I have a long adventure ahead.
